One of the most stunning hybrids we’ve offered. We love the contrast of the newly emerging dusty pink leaves emerging from the plant with the deep green of the matured leaves.
All plants available here are clones of the parent plant (they have the same genetics), as they were propagated via stem cuttings. They have strong root systems, which should result in their leaves sizing up quickly. The parent plant is shown in the last two photos labeled ‘C21’.
The plant pictured here is the plant you will receive.
Velvet leaf anthuriums like this need very specific conditions to thrive. We don’t recommend this plant for brown thumbs. If you live in Australia’s southern states, we recommend a humidifier, greenhouse, or similar to house your velvet leaf anthuriums. These plants are endemic to the tropics, and require warmth and humidity to grow. Some collectors push the limits of these plants, growing them in below-optimal conditions, but we don’t suggest this unless you are an experienced grower.
